Longton Grove, Sydenham

A simple black cedar clad, single-storey rear extension to this late 1950s townhouse in Sydenham, South London, has transformed the ground floor living space, to create a new open plan family room, bathed in natural light.

The large expanse of glazing to the rear creates an improved connection to the landscaped, terraced garden beyond.
